An extension of you.
Ergonomics are an important consideration in the design process for Festool power
tools. We realize that your cordless drill is probably the tool you use the most.
So, why shouldn't it be designed to be comfortable? That means a drill that has
a very low weight, feels great in your hand, and can be used right or left handed.
Not to mention all of the other small details that we incorporate to make them a pleasure
to use.
Let's take a look at what makes Festool cordless drills extremely ergonomic.
Light weight.
Nearly all of today's cordless drills use Lithium Ion
battery technology to reduce weight and this is true for Festool cordless
drills as well. However, Festool goes a step further by using
brushless motor technology which, among its many benefits, reduces weight.
Festool's Centrotec chuck reduces the weight
of the drill by a half of a pound or more versus competitor's drills. If you're
spending long period of time drilling and driving, this weight savings can really
make a difference and prevent fatigue.

Comfortable all day long.
If you're a professional, you may spend nearly the entire day using your cordless
drill. We offer drills in three different form factors: T-handle, C-handle and Compact.
While most people are familiar with the traditional T-handle drill, many of our
customers find that the C-handle offers better balance and puts their arm inline
with the drill transmission, which is more comfortable. An oversized trigger allows
you to operate the drill with one or more fingers. A rubberized coating on the handle
provides a non-slip surface and also cushions your grip.
Enjoy using your cordless drill more whether you're drilling a single hole or building
a "small" bookcase.

No detail overlooked.
An integrated high-intensity LED light, integrated belt clip, onboard magnetic bit
stowage and a battery fuel gauge are just icing on the cake.*
The belt clip easily slides from one side to the other to match your preference.
The onboard magnetic bit stowage keeps you from spending your time looking for misplaced
driver bits or screws. On C-Series and T-Series cordless drills, a battery fuel
gauge let's you know when it's time to swap the battery before it's too late.
While all of these features are simple. It's part of Festool's commitment to attempt
to think of everything, so you don't have to.

Ambidextrous operation.
Whether you're right-handed or left-handed, Festool cordless drills will be comfortable
in your hand and all controls are at your fingertips. Controls are centrally located
on the top center of the machine for convenience.
